Gaston Cornu-Labat MD

Gaston Cornu-Labat, M.D. – “Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy”

Dr. Cornu-Labat’s consultations in medicine include treatment of nearly any illness, including heart disease, atherosclerosis, COPD, diabetes, hypertension, arthritis, and many more. He also counsels in preventive medicine and health maintenance and optimization, as well as comprehensive bio-identical hormone replacement, originated at Tahoma Clinic in the early 1980s.

His general surgery practice focuses first on whether surgery is really necessary—for example, most gallbladder surgeries can be safely avoided while “gallbladder attacks” are also eliminated. If a surgery is truly needed, Dr. Cornu-Labat emphasizes not only excellent surgical technique but natural “before and after” care for the best and most rapid recoveries possible. He performs gastrointestinal endoscopies including colonoscopy, as well as outpatient body and facial sculpting (“Mesotherapy”), following the techniques of Dr. Lionel Bissoon.

Dr. Cornu-Labat obtained his M.D. degree from the Universidad de Buenos Aires (Argentina) in 1991. His studies in General Surgery took place between 1992 and 2002 initially in Argentina, then Youngstown, Ohio. In Youngstown he obtained his Specialist title, then completed his education at Virginia Mason’s Department of Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery in Seattle, Washington.

With his first years of practice in small rural communities both in Nebraska and Eastern Washington, he worked with a broad range of medical and surgical pathology, performed minimally invasive as well as “open-cavity” surgery, gastrointestinal and biliary endoscopy, and conducted a general surgical practice. During this time his intuitive understanding of holistic medicine developed and matured, with the conviction that many forms of effective healing practice have their place in the holistic care of the human being.

After overcoming a challenge to his basic philosophy of health care initiated by his previous employer, Dr. Cornu-Labat joined the Tahoma Clinic staff to undergo an apprenticeship with Dr. Wright and other Clinic practitioners, acquiring many more of the principles of nutritional and natural medicine and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. As noted above, Dr. Cornu-Labat has become the only truly holistic practicing physician and practicing surgeon in Washington State.

He has also completed an exclusive educational workshop with Dr. Lionel Bissoon in all the techniques of European-originated “Mesotherapy” for body and facial sculpting, becoming the only active practitioner in the Seattle area trained in Dr. Bissoon’s methods.

With a broad and solid education and experience in the physical manifestations of disease and being an avid student of human behavior, Dr. Cornu-Labat observes that it is the process which leads to such physical manifestations what fascinates him the most. “We, health practitioners, at all levels help to reverse, excise or at the very least contain those physical manifestations of disease; however, the cure, the true miracle of medicine is a gift that comes from within. It is our mission as practitioners to facilitate, to guide, to unlock this power; we are tools for the people in their path to health, wellbeing and happiness.”

38 thoughts on “Fastest Way To A Better Body, Enhanced Performance, Cut Diet Confusion, Blast Body Fat & Live Longer

    • Daniel, the list of speakers and full itinerary will be posted very soon. At this point, our tentative speakers include:

      -Me

-Dr. Charles Carpenter, biomarker testing expert from WellnessFX

-Dr. David Minkoff of Lifeworks Wellness Center

-Curtis Moran, previous Bastyr University adviser

      -Roger Drummer, Chinese Adaptogenic herbalist

      -Toby Hallowitz, Naturopathic Physician

-Ray Cronise, NASA Engineer and cold thermogenesis expert

-And more are getting dialed in – one very important thing is that this not be a bunch of info you could just go get other places or “recycled” presentations. It’s going to be fresh, new stuff – and especially important is going to be the live Q&A interaction, social events, food, etc!

  1. Hi Ben and Friends of Ben-
I listen to your podcasts (ironically while trail-running or working out) and I like your information. I’m a chiropractor and clinical nutritionist and it’s nice to hear other “nutritionists” out there are teaching the Back to Basics principles and not the “low-fat/no-fat” garbage from many RD’s. So, other than your normal featured super smart guests on your pod-cast, how does a “new” featured speaker get added to your program list?
Would love to meet and chat sometime….after all, those of us who LOVE what we do and are PASSIONATE about it, Love meeting other people who do similar teaching, training, and empowering! :o)

    In Health,

    Dr. Janelle Perkins

  2. For those who cannot make it, will you provide an option to view the presentations and notes? I purchased the kindle version of your becoming superhuman ebook. how much of the conference information does this book contain?

    Thanks

    • Hi David,

The event will be recorded and available for sale within a few weeks afterwards. But there’s a big difference between sitting at home and watching the DVD’s or reading the .pdf’s vs. being at the live event.

Nothing beats actually being there in-person, able to ask questions in real time, come to the post-event parties, socialize, network, meet new friends, eat awesome food, get massive amounts of inspiration and the memories to last a lifetime!

I’ve often purchased conference recordings and let them sit getting dusty on a shelf. But the experiences I’ve had attended conferences LIVE are literally invaluable to me.

None of the info in the “Become Superhuman” book (or any of my books for that matter) will be “repeated” at the conference – I’m not a fan of getting information at events you could otherwise get on your own – this will all be fresh, new stuff!

  3. Hi Ben, I’m in Spokane and hope to come. I’d like to hear Nora Gedgaudas. She’s just over in Portland. I love her book Primal Body, Primal Mind. Could you check on her availability?

  4. Wow Ben, what an amazing looking event you have planned! I’m excited that Nora Gedgaudas is speaking at your venue. She’s my hero!

  5. I am really considering becoming a superhuman coach…I want to be you when I grow up!!! 🙂 If I apply and get started, is the conference included for this year or is it included once you are certified? I am a fitness trainer and nutrition coach with a strong passion for what you do. I am about to make a big move in life from CO to AZ and leave behind a client base. Is this something that will help me build an online business as I move to a place that I am not very networked in? Thanks so much!!!

  6. Hey Ben,
I think another person to consider adding to your speaker line up would be Dr. Ron Rosedale. He’s been preaching low carb, high fat, moderate protein for 20+ years. Nora Gedaugas credits much of here dietary advice to the teachings of Dr. Rosedale. I think he would be honored to speak at your event and his message is very fitting with the message you convey.

      • No worries, I just thought I’d throw it out there cause he offers some interesting perspectives. He might be an interesting guest for a podcast in the future.

On another note, I’m currently studying for the ISSN SNS certification. I’ve studied all of the content throughout the essentials of sports nutrition and supplements and feel confident that I could pass the CISSN exam , but I lack the 4 year degree that is a prerequisite. Is there anyway around meeting the degree requirement? I know the info and then some from other studies. Kinda frustrating.

  7. Ben, well I have been traveling out of West Texas,
(Lubbock, TX) since 1966 and have covered many
countries- and all of the USA. So, Spokane is no challenge to a doer. I am in and look forward to the Superhuman event. I am also bringing my most mature lo0k since I know I will be the most Senior, but not necessarily the most mature!!

  8. Hey Ben,

I purchased the live feed for this conference this morning and never received a confirmation email. The money has been withdrawn from my account. Is there a link I’ll need to log on?

    Thanks

    • Hey Ben,
