  • Dr Jeff Banas

    Dr. Jeffrey Banas
    Certified Superhuman Performance Coach
    Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician
    Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist
    Certified in Clinical Acupuncture

Dr Jeff went from a 270 pound FATMAN, to a 205 pound 8 time IRONMAN FINISHER.

Like many other people, Dr. Jeff was a high school and college athlete and never had to think about being over weight, but somehow life caught up to him, and over the years Dr. Jeff began to gradually gain weight. Well, that gradual weight gain ended up creating a six foot two, thirty two year old weighing close to 270 POUNDS!

Not only was he very overweight, he also had high blood pressure, high cholesterol, was depressed about the way he looked, and was on a crash course to developing countless diseases related to obesity. After years of struggling with fad diets, gimmick supplements, and ineffective exercise programs, Dr. Jeff had enough.

He began studying exercise physiology, nutrition, and various training methods and began competing in mini triathlons. One thing lead to another before he knew it, Dr. Jeff lost over 70 pounds and finished the Ironman Triathlon, which is a 2.4 mile swim, followed by a 112 mile bike, then followed by a 26.2 mile run all in one day. Dr Jeff was a true Fatman To Ironman!

Dr. Jeff not only found a new body, he found a new life. This weight loss and his personal experience training and competing in endurance sports lead Dr. Jeff to focus his practice on the prevention and treatment of sports related injuries, sports performance and weight loss.

Dr. Jeff now wears two hats, one as a healer helping people with pain and injuries, and one as a weight loss and endurance coach.

  • Justin Dutra

Alright. First off I want to play a trick on your brain as a neurohacking game. Find the answer to the question.
A cowboy comes to a bar on Friday, stays for three days after a nice weekend there with his girlfriend and then leaves on Friday. How did he do it?
Before I reveal the answer let me explain a little who I am. Keynote: (Make sure to be doing 50 squats or be standing when reading to feel the effects of me and my motion (haha))
As Tony Robbins said: "Emotion is created by Motion."
Anyway my name is Justin Dutra and ever since I was about 6 years young I decided that I wanted to help the world through being outside and be a Wildman in nature. As I progressed to an older age of 15, my ambition for overall health and fitness began to shift my life in a more sustainable and disciplined manner. I think of myself as a biohacking experimenter, ultra endurance racer, spartan racer, fitness junkie, primal lifestyle activist, nature lover, martial arts ninja and social individual who enjoys small talk about science and life. I have a certification as a Superhuman Coach with The Ben Greenfield, a Primal Health Coach Certification with Mark Sisson and the Primal Blueprint, I am also, a certified martial arts and karate instructor, and have a brown belt in Shaolin Kempo Karate with USSD.
After being able to fix my speech impediment, eye vision, and asthma throughout the act of a holistic change in my eating and training patterns. Thus that's when I discovered to learn new and cutting edge knowledge in the primal health industry and find improved and easily accessible biohacks I could implement to have a competitive advantage on my peers.
Everything changed as I began to have a more disruptive unconventional approach to my life and live with a purpose to change the world and impact my species, environment, and other living organisms in a healthy manner.
My job is to assist you on your personalized journey to improve your current situation and fight the obstacles holding you back to get you to the desired destination you want drastically. We do it by tapping into your unique genome (or genetics and DNA) to unravel primordial hunter gatherer genes that are in alignment to your overall lifestyle so you can live a happier, healthier life internally and externally.
Whether that's using biofeedback to assess biomarkers to find inflammatory agents in your bloodstream, taking stool tests to unlock your microbiome good bacteria flora count, find the % of your VO2 max, what memory hacks we can implement to enhance myelination around your neurons for enhanced cognitive power dexterity, or improving brown adipose tissue to enhance the amazing effects of mitochondrial density around your mammalian muscles to improve performance and longevity factors, we will unlock true potential to create the best you.
Ultimately, what I'm saying is upgrading your soul to a whole new level.
I've been helping parents (my own parents too), referrals from friends, and customers at my job in my hometown, reduce cancer cells, fat tissue and enhance muscle mass through the tips I will share with you if you give me a free complimentary call. The consultation is free and I would be goad to answer any questions in a 10 minute call.

Okay, okay if you managed to stay this long I will now reveal the answer. The cowboy rode in on Friday and left in three days. Got the answer? The answer is his horses name was Friday.
There you have it and make sure to give me a call anytime to talk health or need someone to rock your world with human physiology and optimized performance.
You can go to my website at: nooprimex.com/contact
    or
Go to my Instagram page for free awesome knowledge on the brain: www.instagram.com/nooprime_x/
    Talk to you soon.

    - My life's mission

Is to help everyone I can achieve superhuman optimization in their lives in every way possible, including factors such as fat loss, athletic performance, sleep, nutrition, hormones, etc.

Also, I am obsessed with finding the most nutritious, beneficial, and natural foods/superfoods/supplements/technology/products that are not only found in my home state of PA or even the US, but from around the world and I wish to bring this information/products to people that wish to optimize their lives and go beyond human in order to become superhuman.

    - Background

I found my intense passion for everything health, fitness, and performance in 2015. This was during my 3 month stay in Phuket, Thailand where I was staying and training Muay thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and other Martial arts at the Tiger Muay Thai camp. I became extremely interested in the performance, nutrition, and lifestyle factors that were not only beneficial to the high level athletes but also the average person. When I returned from Thailand is when I found Ben Greenfield's podcast, which only increased my interest in what makes people optimized and is when I decided to change career paths and get involved in the health and fitness industry.

  • Mark Turner

Mark Turner is passionate about coaching, teaching, and helping his clients live out their own personal reason for being on planet earth in the best, most active, productive, and healthiest way possible.

Like his clients Mark is on his own personal journey in pursuit of what the Greeks called arete. He points out that arete can be loosely translated as excellence in English. "But arete is more than just a "A+" grade, it is an "A+" with style. In other words art and science are never separated. The life of the mind is not divorced from the life of the body or the spirit. "Animus, Corpus, Spiritus": Mind, Body, Spirit."

Mark was training for his first triathlon in the late 80's, when the sport was still relatively new. In the middle of his training he became ill and, to make a long story short, he was misdiagnosed with a condition he never had and spent the next couple of decades treating asthma (which is what he did have) with double doses of ibuprofen.

Needless to say he put on a great deal of weight. When he got the asthma diagnosed, treated, and under control he weighed in at 250 and had High blood pressure. He did the math and realized that he was gaining weight exponentially and would hit 300+ by the time he was fifty if he did not make a change. So he did.

He started running on December 31st, 2007 and ran his first 1/2 marathon the following February. ISince then he has run 10+ 1/2s, 4 fulls, numerous 10ks, 10 milers, 1 milers, 5 ks, duathlons, sprint and olympic triathlons, 2 1/2 IMs and 1 IM.

Currently he is training for 2 more 1/2s in June 2014 and IM Florida in November 2014.

Mark is trained in Strengths Coaching with Gallup University, he is USAT Level I Certified Coach.

Mark joined the Superhuman Coach Network because he is convinced that the untapped potential of human beings is the single greatest wasted resource on the planet.

Mark takes to heart what a friend of his once told him, "life on planet earth is a one shot deal. You might as well go for great!"

If you want to release your own untapped potential contact Mark at [email protected].

  • Skylar Rubalcaba

My name is Skylar Rubalcaba and I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in exercise and sport sciences with a concentration in Human Performance. At Ithaca I work as both a strength and conditioning coach an personal trainer. Once I am finished with school my goal is to work in the field of athletics in some form of strength and conditioning.
My masters thesis is in the field of heart rate variability (HRV). I think HRV is an up and coming biofeedback tool that athletes and coaches can utilize to achieve maximum performance in their athletes. While I am specifically focusing on how HRV relates to performance in runners I believe that the use of HRV applies to all fields of both sport and health. There is much research that still needs to be done in this area and I would like to help add to the collective knowledge.
